Nikki had just returned to her office after spending the majority of the day being read into their new case. After the resounding success of the Petrov case, their team was given access to whatever resources within the Bureau that they would need. This next case would likely require all that and then some. Speaking of then some, Nikki brought up a new email,
“Dear Simon,
I was just read into our new case and I think it is right up your alley. There have been 3 high profile break ins at government installations that are working on a next generation missile defense system over the last 2 months. Due to the secretive nature of the project, they are working at isolated locations to help keep the information secure. No one facility has the entire schematic for the system. One group is working on guidance, one armament, and so on. We were not given the details of the project, but we do have access to all of the security systems at each location to help us determine how they are gaining access to the buildings and their systems within. We have access to all personnel and their background information. You can access all of the casefiles through a secure connection that was set up for you to remotely access the case info. Rob would rather the info stay in house for additional security. Although, it sounds like the facilities that these break ins have occurred at were more secure than we are here.
Our mission is to determine who is behind the attacks, determine what data was compromised, and close the leak…. Permanently. We are doing deep background checks on all staff at each location, financial records, the works. Let me know if you need anything from us here.

Nikki had a wicked little smile on her lips as she hit send. She knew she was going to get it for poking the Rage, she couldn’t wait.
