The story behind Two Sharpe Publishing

Welcome to Two Sharpe Publishing.  We created our company to publish some books that my daughter and I write together.  This was not something Amanda nor I had ever even dreamed of, but then life has a way of sending you down the path that it wants… regardless of where you were planning on going.

On September 16, 2015, Amanda’s husband Kevin was on his way home from work late one night and was waiting for traffic to clear in the left turn lane about a mile from their home.  A drunk driver coming from behind Kevin, at what was estimated 75 mph in a 45 mph zone, veered out of the travel lanes and struck Kevin in the rear of his Dodge Neon with a full-size SUV.  Kevin was killed instantly in the crash.

Several months after Kevin’s death, Amanda wrote an autobiography of her life with Kevin called Stolen and she asked me if I would help edit the book.  Once we put the finishing touches on Stolen, we decided we would cowrite a fictional series called The Charly Stevens series. The booksfollow young Charly Stevens after losing her husband to a drunk driver.  The love that was taken so abruptly from the world left a conduit that Kevin can use to influence the beloved rescue French Bulldog, Lola, that Kevin and Charly shared.  Lola, with Kevin’s influence, sets out to help Charly rescue a dog that was taken from her family and along the way, a man from Charly’s past comes into her life making her face that critical time where Charly needs to let go of the past and move forward with her life.   Charly also meets a mentor along the way that will help her make sense of what is going on with Lola.  We hope you enjoy the series. Awakening and the second book, Acceptance, are available through Amazon and can be accessed by a link on our site. We are working on the third installment, Absolution, which will be published this coming summer.

People deal with the loss of a loved one in many different ways. After starting the Charly Stevens Series, we came up with another fictional series called Road Rage The Blog. It is a real time blog written by Simon, a man who has a great deal of rage, especially when he gets in a car. Simon decides that he is going to kill some people who, basically, need some killing to help control the spiraling population explosion and make the roads safer for everyone else who can drive in a normal courteous manner.  After several claimed murders by Simon, the FBI assigns Special Agent Monique Sebastian to the Simon case to see if he is indeed real and if he is killing the people he claims.  Monique, Nikki, quickly realizes that the usual methods of law enforcement don’t apply to this case because to date they have not been able to uncover any physical evidence from any of the claimed killings.  Nikki must engage Simon and see if she can draw him out.  Her specialty with the Behavioral Analysis Unitat the FBI is to be able to get into the mind of a killer and help create a profile that will catch him.  Nikki quickly realizes that Simon isn’t like any other serial killer she has ever crossed.  She becomes drawn to him and finds that in the process of getting into Simon’s mind, she has opened herself up to this man and the consequences are not what she expected.  Road Rage isinteractive allowing readers to make suggestions on character development, plot twists, and story line.  The first edition, Unleased, is available via Amazon and you can access a link to the published book through our website. We are finishing up the second book in the series and it will be available on May 24th. You can also read all of the posts published to date on our website and subscribe to have them sent to you in real time moving forward.

Once we had an idea for the above projects, we needed a Social Engineer to handle publishing, website development, cover art, and social media for our company.  We were lucky enough to convince Kris Spoon to join our team.  Kris has a wide range of experience in the world of publishing and social media and has used those unique skills to create a platform for not only the works we have created to date, but for those to come.  We hope in the future to be able to help other authors bring their works to life through our company.

Thank you for visiting our website and we hope that you will enjoy and interact with our projects as much as our team has enjoyed creating them.

Thank you for visiting Two Sharpe Publishing
